Female Sports Broadcasters in the Arabic Speaking World - A Lesson Plan

This lesson is aimed at Intermediate-Mid to Advanced students of Arabic. The structure of this lesson is set so that students spend no more than an hour on either their homework the night before OR taking a class period or two to cover the material. Students are expected to dedicate: 15 minutes vocabulary, 15 minutes listening, 15 minutes reading, 15 minutes speaking.

Content aims: Students can explore and inquire about famous female sports broadcasters from around the Arabic-speaking world.

Language aims: Students can express their opinions/first impressions on the role of women in sports broadcasting in the Arabic-speaking world. Students can compare and contrast what they learn in this lesson with what they know from their own, personal context.
