Food Speaking Assessment

The activities highlighted in this sheet can be used as a formative assessment to determine students’ ability to speak about food. Students will be placed in groups of two and a coin flip will determine who will be the waiter and customer in the dialogue skit. There are five possible scenarios and each group must choose one. Depending on the focus of the class, the skits can be performed in any given colloquial dialect or Modern Standard Arabic.
