This lesson plan for a secondary history classroom focuses on the creation of "Mandate States" in the Middle East following World War I.  It utilizes multiple sources to help students discover the importance of the Sykes-Picot Agreement, and the Paris Peace Conference. The decisions made at the League of Nations are also explored.
