Lesson Unit: Mapping One's Identity

In this unit, students will be introduced to others' stories, particularly immigrants and refugees' stories, about where they've been, where they are, and where they are going. Students will use these three ideas to write their own narrative that incorporates maps, places, or paths to tell their personal story. This lesson is intended for both middle and high school students and will take around four weeks to complete.
