This two part resource introduces students at the high school level to the geography and history of the region. Once equipped with this information, students will engage in a role-play simulation, taking on various ethnic and religious groups, through four rounds that correspond with historical time periods. The resource includes a graphic organizer and discussion questions that guides students through a critical analysis and debrief of the simulation activity.
